For the skeptics saying this scale does not work – they are wrong. EXTREMELY wrong, and could not be more wrong! I had my iPhone scale in the plastic wrapping (opened but still in wrapping) so it was looking like new a new out of box iPhone. On top of that I had a real scale that looked like nothing other than a real pocket scale. The mistake of carrying two was extremely stupid and I paid for it – ONCE.

The police officer searching my car found the obvious scale which was very stupidly in the same box as the iPhone look a like box, sitting right on the top. I put it there because it was a convince place to store it at the time and it fit perfectly. We weren’t driving that far with them either, but I know that’s irrelevant. As the officer was going through my things he picked up the iPhone box and I thought I was in double trouble when he opened the lid…

Turns out he took out the single pocket scale and didn’t even go through the iPhone scale box at all! Soon as he found the real scale, he immediately put the lid back on the box and put it on the hood of his car. Wow what a relief I was thinking, I can’t believe I pulled that one off!
Had the real digital pocket scale not have even been near my iPhone scale, I question the fact that I would have been caught in the first place. However, I still have to pay a fine for my stupidities, but have learned my lesson, and I learned it well.

What I learned from using the iPhone Scale:

Keep one scale on a time

The iPhone scale WILL fool a police officer if given a chance

Never hold stuff for other people, under any circumstance

The outcome of this disaster wasn’t too bad, fines will be paid, lessons learned. I was charged with possession of paraphernalia however, only on one account not for the scale!

A great improvement to the iPhone scale would be a secret box on the bottom of it, kind of like a trap door. This would allow for small amounts of herbs and pipes and other small items such as pipe cleaners. Since this particular cop didn’t even decide to hardly go through the iScale box, I would say this idea sounds not only practical but essential!

Is the iPhone becoming the new drug of the technology world? Some might say so because of the millions of applications that are slowly taking over everyday tasks of life. While the iPhone has a massive user base that utilize its features for extremely legitimate ways, there are always the people using it for drugs like, marijuana(pot), and not so commonly, cocaine, as well as other things the iPhone scale can weigh out.

Given human nature, humans will use items they bought to their fullest nature. This means they will modify, hack, and change their iPhone or whatever device to do whatever it is they want – include weighing drugs. History shows stopping this progress is impossible, so why not foster it.

The iPhone scale is one of those inventions that is probably not going to go away. Dubbed the cocaine scale, pot scale, marijuana scale, or weed scale, this simple Weigh Max digital pocket scale is simply built to the same specifications as the iPhone. In other words, it’s a normal mini scale made to look like an iPhone. Weigh Max had no intentions of the uses it would find when creating the iSale, or iPhone scale. While walking in murky waters, weighing out marijuana or cocaine bought from scales made by Weigh max is still not illegal on their part. Once you purchase the iScale, the legalities fall on you.

However, you can’t say Weigh Max’s new product doesn’t perfectly fit the niche of people seeking to hide their mini scale with ease. It comes with a colored high quality box that too, looks exactly like the real iPhone. Upon opening it, it looks like you’re unboxing an actual iPhone. There are directions, a plastic cup molded for the iPhone Scale, and then the scale which is sealed in clear plastic. I couldn’t even tell the difference – and I think that’s the point!

Since it weighs in increments of .01 (tenths of grams) and a maximum of 650 grams at a time, the iScale or iPhone scale is definitely the perfect item for weighing out personal amounts of Marijuana. The tare function allows you to flip the stainless steel lid over and act as a pan to hold buds or powders that slip off the usual scaling area.

While this is no official Apple iPhone Scale, or you’re not weighing out items on your iPhone, it’s the closest thing. If you want to weigh things on your actual iPhone, find the application that does so, this is for the weighing enthusiasts that need constant measurements in different weighing methods on the go.

If you’re in the market for cheap a affordable mini scale, there’s really no reason not to own an iPhone look alike scale. It performs, weighs, and has an excellent battery life; just like that of any other digital pocket scale. If you’re going to own a digital pocket scale, why not have the added benefit of making it look exactly like the iPhone?

Skeptical at first from buying a self-proclaimed iPhone scale online, I ordered it through Amazon.com, which I found through an affiliate website iphonescale.net. The scale wasn’t shipped from a foreign country and only took 4 days to get here; so far I am impressed. The return label said California, but I didn’t care it was here!

The quality of the iPhone scale look alike box is impeccable, like they said. The printing of the colors on it makes it what I consider so high quality. Next the inside of the box. The white plastic carton and manuals make it look even more legit because it cradles the plastic wrapped iPhone scale in a cartoon. All this leaves no concerns in most minds that this is not an iPhone.

What to expect when unboxing the iPhone scale:

Plastic tray to hold it all.

iPhone scale wrapped in plastic fitted in molded tray.

Manual that looks like the real iPhone directions.

Batteries to run the device for years to come.

Depending on what you are going to use your iPhone scale for, it’s generally going to work fine. I weigh grams anywhere from one to 550 is common. It weighs tenths of a gram at a time with no issues and never has any troubles fluctuating between numbers.

You can read the numbers off a big backlit LCD screen. The numbers are displayed clear, and in blue. This beautiful easy to read screen is why the scale requires batteries. The iPhone scale lid; especially when it’s wrapped in the fake plastic looks flawless. In the plastic it gives off a glossy look to the iScale making it look like a real iPhone screen. However if you take it off it starts to get a bet duller, but it still fine.

The weighing aspect of the iPhone scale is better than expected. It weighs just like any other digital pocket scale, the other difference is this one looks likes exactly like an iPhone. Putting it in your pocket is a breeze as it’s the same size as the iPhone. Don’t worry about it breaking because the iPhone scale is designed to be squished and banged around in a pocket.

If you’re in the market of a digital pocket scale, this one is for you. There’s no reason not to buy this one – with the added benefit of looking exactly like the markets highest selling cell phone.

When receiving the iScale or iPhone scale from iphonescale.net, I was a little more pleased than I had expected. The iScale was wrapped in clear plastic and a manual put on top of that. All of that was neatly fitted in to a plastic molding in the box which looks exactly like a real iPhone. All of this presents the iPhone scale in a manner in which looks totally real. The quality and attention to detail done by Weigh Max are nothing to ignore.

iPhone scale comes with the following:

Look alike box

iScale

Batteries

Plastic molded tray

The iPhone scale upon use is self sufficient and comes with its own batteries. When weighing out even the smallest items even those that are a tenth of a gram. The tenth decimal does not bounce up nor down, it weighs it accurately once – the first time. When weighing out large numbers of small things like beads, flip the iPhone scale’s cover over and create its own weighing lid. Use the tare function to zero out the lid before adding on goods in which needs measuring.

The iPhone scale comes with a durable scale crafted with a stainless steel lid and a high quality glossy box. It can weigh in four weighing tonnes, grams, ounces, troy ounces, and dead weight tonnage. Easily weigh out spices, gold, silver, and much much more.

Since the iPhone scale is the same size as the real iPhone, it can fit directly in your pocket easily. Anyone searching you will just assume you’re carrying an iPhone! Worried about it breaking during tough walks? Don’t worry, the lid is built to shake around with even the heaviest items in your pocket, keeping your scale calibrated and accurate at all times. Even people who own similar products such as the iTouch or iPhone when given an iScale aren’t sure what to make of it! This is what Weigh Max had in mind when creating this ultimate iPhone scale.
