Skeptical at first from buying a self-proclaimed iPhone scale online, I ordered it through Amazon.com, which I found through an affiliate website iphonescale.net. The scale wasn’t shipped from a foreign country and only took 4 days to get here; so far I am impressed. The return label said California, but I didn’t care it was here!
The quality of the iPhone scale look alike box is impeccable, like they said. The printing of the colors on it makes it what I consider so high quality. Next the inside of the box. The white plastic carton and manuals make it look even more legit because it cradles the plastic wrapped iPhone scale in a cartoon. All this leaves no concerns in most minds that this is not an iPhone.
What to expect when unboxing the iPhone scale:
Depending on what you are going to use your iPhone scale for, it’s generally going to work fine. I weigh grams anywhere from one to 550 is common. It weighs tenths of a gram at a time with no issues and never has any troubles fluctuating between numbers.
You can read the numbers off a big backlit LCD screen. The numbers are displayed clear, and in blue. This beautiful easy to read screen is why the scale requires batteries. The iPhone scale lid; especially when it’s wrapped in the fake plastic looks flawless. In the plastic it gives off a glossy look to the iScale making it look like a real iPhone screen. However if you take it off it starts to get a bet duller, but it still fine.
The weighing aspect of the iPhone scale is better than expected. It weighs just like any other digital pocket scale, the other difference is this one looks likes exactly like an iPhone. Putting it in your pocket is a breeze as it’s the same size as the iPhone. Don’t worry about it breaking because the iPhone scale is designed to be squished and banged around in a pocket.
If you’re in the market of a digital pocket scale, this one is for you. There’s no reason not to buy this one – with the added benefit of looking exactly like the markets highest selling cell phone.
